Meet the Team

Registered Dental Hygienist

Hi! My name is Becky and I am Santa Teresa Dental’s very first dental hygienist since September 2011 and it has been my only dental home since then. I find working at Santa Teresa Dental to be very rewarding. I love helping people transform their smiles, and it is especially rewarding to help nervous or anxious patients to relax and receive the care that they need. My patients are my priority. I want each to know that I am here to help them achieve optimum oral health, but I’m also here to listen, to help them relax, and help them to enjoy their dental hygiene visit. Read More

I bring over 20 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist and I am licensed to administer local anesthetia and nitrous oxide. Additionally, I have a Bachelor degree in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University and an Associate’s degree in Laser Technology, and enjoy providing advanced laser-assisted gum disease therapy. Santa Teresa Dental is a warm, caring environment that also provides state-of-the-art, leading edge dental services.

Terri LawrenceTERRI

Registered Dental Hygienist

I am a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 24 years of experience. Before becoming a dental hygienist, I was also a Registered Dental Assistant. I started with Santa Teresa Dental in January 2017 and I am here on Mondays and Fridays. What makes us special is the team approach of patient care. Every team member reviews each patient chart every morning thoroughly and in the morning huddles, we discuss your treatment and needs in detail. Read More

My goal is to provide you with excellent dental care with an overall health approach. During your recare visit with me, I will review your medical history thoroughly, discuss any possible oral complications from your medications and medical conditions, perform nutritional counseling with you if needed and customize a hygiene home program that is just right for you.

I hold an Associate of Science degree from the Dental Hygiene department of Foothill College. I am also a certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. I went through a special 3 year training program from the University of Pacific to obtain my Registered Dental Hygienist Alternative Practice (RDHAP) license. It allows me to practice without the direct supervision of a dentist. I specialized in treating special needs adults and children. I am also certified to administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and laser-assisted periodontal disease therapy treatment.

Financial Coordinator

As we say goodbye to Sarah, our long term patient coordinator, Santa Teresa Dental welcomes Nancy to our team. Nancy brings over 45 years of dental experience with her. She holds a Registered Dental Assistant license, and has been doing billing and coding for both dental and medical insurances the majority of her career. For Nancy, making sure patients have a pleasant experience is her top priority.

Part of her job involves preparing and going over financial plans with patients and making sure each patient is comfortable with the proposed treatment plan. Read More

Nancy takes her responsibility of making patients’ experience at Santa Teresa Dental friendly and inviting. She believes that patients aren’t just another record in the computer, they are individuals with families, jobs, and interests. Santa Teresa Dental has a lot to offer patients, but the best reason to make an appointment is that every detail of the patient experience represents our total commitment to quality and ensuring that the patients’ needs are met.

Outside of work, Nancy enjoys doing counted cross stitch and going for walks on the beach. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends. Married for forty-five years, Nancy is active in church work and loves her time with her grandsons.

Care Consultant

I am the Patient Care Consultant at Santa Teresa Dental, and the best part of my job is the patients! I thoroughly enjoy working with people, and strive to make our patients feel welcome and treat each one with kindness and respect. It’s important to me that I listen closely to each person’s individual needs, and I work very hard to accommodate those needs. As a Spanish speaker, I am also able to consult with many patients and their families in their home language. I feel that each day is a new opportunity to make our patients happier and healthier. I am also a certified dental assistant with x-ray and coronal polishing licenses.

Patient Coordinator

Vanessa has always been a front office specialist. Her association with Santa Teresa Dental started in May 2011. She is returning after a leave of absence and is now back! “I am back where I belong,” she said.

Vanessa was trained by Western Career College as a front office administrator. She hopes that she can utilize her past experience and learned skills to serve patients of Santa Teresa Dental. She thinks a prospective patient should choose Santa Teresa Dental because we take the time to get to know each person that walks through the door and we build a relationship with them so that they feel comfortable and trusting.” Read More

Vanessa is happily married with 3 children, enjoys traveling, and spending time with family. Her philosophy is to live each day to the fullest because tomorrow is never promised!
