Meet the Team
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hi! My name is Becky and I am Santa Teresa Dental’s very first dental hygienist since September 2011 and it has been my only dental home since then. I find working at Santa Teresa Dental to be very rewarding. I love helping people transform their smiles, and it is especially rewarding to help nervous or anxious patients to relax and receive the care that they need. My patients are my priority. I want each to know that I am here to help them achieve optimum oral health, but I’m also here to listen, to help them relax, and help them to enjoy their dental hygiene visit. Read More

Additionally, I have a Bachelor degree in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University and an Associate’s degree in Laser Technology, and enjoy providing advanced laser-assisted gum disease therapy. Santa Teresa Dental is a warm, caring environment that also provides state-of-the-art, leading edge dental services.
Registered Dental Hygienist
I am a Registered Dental Hygienist with over 24 years of experience. Before becoming a dental hygienist, I was also a Registered Dental Assistant. I started with Santa Teresa Dental in January 2017 and I am here on Mondays and Fridays. What makes us special is the team approach of patient care. Every team member reviews each patient chart every morning thoroughly and in the morning huddles, we discuss your treatment and needs in detail. Read More
My goal is to provide you with excellent dental care with an overall health approach. During your recare visit with me, I will review your medical history thoroughly, discuss any possible oral complications from your medications and medical conditions, perform nutritional counseling with you if needed and customize a hygiene home program that is just right for you.
I hold an Associate of Science degree from the Dental Hygiene department of Foothill College. I am also a certified Orofacial Myofunctional Therapist. I went through a special 3 year training program from the University of Pacific to obtain my Registered Dental Hygienist Alternative Practice (RDHAP) license. It allows me to practice without the direct supervision of a dentist. I specialized in treating special needs adults and children. I am also certified to administer local anesthesia, nitrous oxide and laser-assisted periodontal disease therapy treatment.

I love working in Santa Teresa Dental because we take time to get to know each of our patients. We listen to their needs and individualize our recommendation, whether it is for hygiene or for restorative work. I am most proud to provide outstanding care to patients with the latest clinical knowledge and with utmost professionalism. I take great pride at knowing the “comfort items” for my patients whether it is a pillow underneath the neck or a certain flavor of dental polishing paste. “I love making my patients feel that they are my number one.”
When Kim is not at work, she likes to spend time with her large Italian family. She also loves to spend time with her 3 children and attend their baseball, soccer as well as basketball games. Her secret indulgence is golfing so you might find her at close by golf courses. “I look forward to meet you.”
I am the Patient Care Consultant at Santa Teresa Dental, and the best part of my job is the patients! I thoroughly enjoy working with people, and strive to make our patients feel welcome and treat each one with kindness and respect. Part of my job involves preparing and going over financial plans with patients and making sure each patient is comfortable with the proposed treatment plan. It’s important to me that I listen closely to each person’s individual needs, and I work very hard to accommodate those needs. As a Spanish speaker, I am also able to consult with many patients and their families in their home language. I feel that each day is a new opportunity to make our patients happier and healthier. I also enjoy encouraging patients to take better care of their teeth as well as making customized recommendations to them.
The pace of the office is always energizing and exciting. One reason I love being part of the Santa Teresa Dental work family is that we work together as a team. And patients are always the center of our attention.
In additional to the registered dental assistant license, I have also attended Progressive Orthodontic, Invisalign, Cerec and Ankylos Implant System seminars.
